Day 1

On the first day, the journey will take you from Alice Springs / Yulara to

The tour begins in Alice Springs or Yulara (Uluru Airport) and continues towards Ayers Rock (Uluru). Along the way, we stop at Mt Conner’s lookout, sometimes called the false Uluru or Fool-uru, to admire the breathtaking views of the red mountain. We also have a quick break at Curtin Springs for restroom facilities before having lunch at the campground. Please note that guests from Alice Springs will be provided with lunch, while those joining from Ayers Rock must arrange their meals before the tour. After our delicious lunch, we embarked on a captivating journey to explore the indigenous interpretive cultural centre of the mesmerising Red Centre. We learned about the national park’s cultural, historical, ecological, and geological significance. We then arrived at Uluru and were in awe of its magnificence. We explored the Mutitjulu waterhole and discovered sacred rock art sites. We listened to ancient creation stories and continued our hike towards Kuniya Piti. We drove to Kantju Gorge, passing through holy sites. We saw the highest waterfall in Central Australia. After a full day of exploration, we witnessed a spectacular sunset at Uluru and had dinner cooked for us.

Meals provided are lunch and dinner. Accommodations are at Ayers Rock Coach Campground (Uluru) Safari Tents or Bush Swags with campground communal facilities. The driving distance is 350km. The hike distance is 2-3 km / 2-3 hours. Lunch is only included for those departing from Alice Springs. Those collected from Ayers Rock must find their lunch before joining the tour.

Day 2

On the second day, the itinerary includes visiting Uluru, Kata Tjuta, and Kings Canyon

We wake up early for a light breakfast. Then, we go to Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park to see the sunrise. Kata Tjuta is even more magnificent than Uluru. Embark on an awe-inspiring journey through the mystical Valley of the Winds or the enchanting Walpa Gorge, where ancient rock formations will leave you breathless. After exploring Kata Tjuta, we move on to Kings Canyon. We witness another beautiful sunset and have a delicious meal by the campfire.

Meals provided are breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Accommodation is available at Kings Creek Station Campground (Kings Canyon) in Safari Tents or Bush Swags with communal facilities. The driving distance is 406 km, which takes approximately 4.5 hours. The hike distance ranges from 2-6 km and takes 2-4 hours, depending on the weather.

Day 3

On the third day, the journey continues from Kings Canyon to Uluru/Yulara or Alice Springs

Embarking on a magical adventure through the sacred lands of the Ulpanyali and Lilla people, we delved into the awe-inspiring depths of Kings Canyon (Watarrka) – the illustrious crown jewel nestled within the heart of Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon). Bringing a hat, water, and sturdy hiking shoes is essential when exploring the canyon. The cliffs surrounding us reach over 100 meters high, providing spectacular views of the sandstone chasms. After a rest, our journey concludes as we return to Yulara or Alice Springs.

Day 3 Highlights:

  • Travelling through remote Central Australian countryside from Kings Canyon to our final destination, Alice Springs or Yulara/Uluru offers stunning outback scenery.
  • Visitors can participate in a guided walking tour at Kings Canyon Watarrka National Park to gain knowledge about the rare native flora, fauna, and geology of this distinctive location.
  • Conclude your journey in either Alice Springs or Yulara (Uluru airport) for your future travels.

There are two meals available, breakfast and lunch. The driving distance is 250km, which takes approximately 2.5 hours. The hike ranges from 2-4 km and takes 2-4 hours. If you plan to return to Ayers Rock or Yulara on [day 3], here’s a friendly tip: steer clear of booking a flight on the same day. Trust us; you will want to take advantage of our epic arrival back into town at 4:00 pm. If you’ve booked the wrong flights, we can’t cover the cost of changing them or rearranging the whole trip just for you – it wouldn’t be fair to the other awesome people on board.

Prepare for the unpredictable and intense weather of the Red Centre, where the climate can switch gears in the blink of an eye. In the scorching dry season, temperatures soar to over a blistering 50+ degrees Celsius, plummeting dramatically as the evening shadows dance upon the desert floor.
